Join the Planets

Reed Bye is the author of a number of books of poetry including Passing Freaks and Graces, Some Magic at the Dump, and, most recently Join the Planets: New and Selected Poems 2005 (United Artists Books). Long Way Around, a CD of original songs was also released in 2005 by Farfalla Press/McMillan and Parrish. In addition to his published books and pamphlets of poetry, his work has appeared in the anthologies, Out of This World, Nice to See You: Homage to Ted Berrigan, The Angel Hair Anthology, Sleeping on the Wing, and Civil Disobediences: Poetics and Politics in Action. He teaches courses in classic and contemporary literature, creative writing, and contemplative poetics at Naropa and holds a Ph.D. in English from the University of Colorado.
